When we communicate enough with developers in the first place and report the condition through the daily stand-up meeting, then there are not many things to hand off. Then the designer feels weird. 'Is it right that I don't have much to hand off? all the other company requires [hand-off] skills!'. But continuous communication is better than a huge hand-off event.
